What I love about Yellowstone men

I was way behind on the Yellowstone obsession but I made up for that over the holiday season. Thank you everyone for insisting that I get on board and binge immediately. It took me a few episodes to get hooked, but I realized this is not a show you passively watch while scrolling online. You have to spend time with the characters in the beauty of Montana, a place I need to see before I die. Now I see what all the fuss is about.

I was completely swept away by the series, and it wasn’t just the hunky cowboys that I loved, but I’m not going to lie, that was a bonus. I quickly became hooked on men on horses and needed my daily fix. I had a few favorite cowboys. How about you? I know you all love Rip, and by season 4, I could understand why. He is the strong silent type and the way he made Beth melt in his hand was better than a bag full of M&M’s. There’s not one of these Yellowstone men I would deny with the exception of Jamie (obviously he had no cowboy charm) and he reminded me of a sleazy ex-boyfriend I dated in the nineties. I loathed him.

What I love most about Yellowstone men is their masculinity. I consider myself a feminist, but I still love a strong man. Over the years, men have been bashed quite a bit and most times they deserved it. Years of male dominance got us tired and angry, but now we are left with men who don’t know how to act. Have we extinguished the male species? The cowboy life may be the last frontier for men to be men. Ladies we may need to head West.

Why I love Yellowstone men:

Swagger. Men you do not have to be good looking to have swagger. Swagger is far sexier than a handsome face and it only gets better with age. Step aside pretty boys and give me a cowboy!

Cowboy hats. When a man tips his hat at a woman it can knock the panties off her. Howdy cowboy!

The way they ride a horse. They make me want to hop on and ride off into the sunset or the barn for a quick romp!

Their sun-kissed face. John Dutton sure makes wrinkles look good. Life is etched on his face and it tells a story that I want to hear.

The way they drink a Coors after a hard day. Hell, I don’t even drink beer, but I want to twist the top of a cold one and play poker in the bunk house with those boys.

The way they kiss a woman and show her she’s a woman. Do I need to elaborate?

Cowboy beards. They are not trim and groomed. They are burly, wild and beg to be touched.

Cowboy abs. We don't see enough of them with their shirts off but there isn't a pudgy one in the bunch. They have muscles that don't come from the gym and flexing in front of the mirror. They earned them by working hard on the ranch.

Singing Cowboys. The way they play a guitar and sing as if they were painting the mountain sky with their emotions makes me weak. If you don't beleive me, just listen here.

Walker is my favorite Yellowstone hottie and he croons sad and soulful songs that leave me wanting more of him. Walker is played by Ryan Bingham a real life cowbowy, singer and all around sexy fella.
